Over the past 27 years we have been blessed with the privilege of working with the most successful brands in the mobile telecommunications industry. In this time we have learnt so much. What is important in a brand and a product are the values of the brand, how it’s product is positioned, but more importantly, a brands vision for the future.
This is when we got thinking, there was not enough planning for the future by even the most successful brands we so loved and represented. We wanted more…We wanted innovative, high quality products that are well priced, that did not harm the environment.
This is where INTOUCH was born. We wanted a brand that had the future in mind, a future for our children and their children. A plastic and toxic free future.
When we first put our pens to the drawing board, we wanted to go the Eco-Friendly route. After some sums were done, we realised that sadly, it was not feasible for us to break into the market with the a complete ECO range of products. We needed to launch our brand and let the world know about us first!
MEANWHILE… we have been working hard to get our range of Eco-Friendly packaging out there and are proud to announce, we have finally done so! Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials and we are working frantically towards producing ECO friendly products.

Another revolutionary product and a first for South Africa, Intouch has launched their New Recycled Fishnet Cables.
By recycling discarded fishing nets and re-use the raw material for mobile accessory production we add important sustainable values to the consumer electronics industry.
Every year 640.000 tons of fishnets are dumped into our oceans. Fishing nets that have been discarded at sea are one of the most harmful forms of ocean debris. These so-called ”Ghost Nets” continue to trap and kill marine life for up to 600 years before degenerating into microplastics.
By collecting all types of fishing nets and recycle and reprocess them into new products, we can break this vicious loop and help preserve the marine flora and fauna with safe and healthy seas.
Imagine a world where you can now charge your phone with chargers and cables that are made from biodegradable parts? Now you can, with Intouch’s New Biodegradable Collection. These products are made from made from Wheat Straw Plastic.
What Is Wheat Straw Plastic?
Wheat straw plastic is the latest eco-friendly material and is a smart, environmentally friendly alternative to plastic. It is a premium food grade material and is completely BPA free and has FDA approval. The impact of regular plastic on the environment is devastating, and wheat straw plastic is an awesome alternative.
Intouch is a proud member of the SANCCOB. SANCCOB Cape Town is fundraising to build a Visitor Centre, offering a multi-purpose facility on the premises in Table View, Cape Town. This new facility will provide an improved educational space and visitor experience but most importantly, will aid SANCCOB to improve its self-sustainability to continue their conservation work and reverse the decline of southern African seabirds.
