Our diverse offering includes restaurants, a selection of indoor and outdoor function venues, delightful countryside accommodation and artisanal outlets, including an onsite coffee roastery, a deli and a bakery.
On a visit to Casalinga Organic Farm you can stock up on household essentials from our Deli, buy a homemade bread from our talented baker, pick up some fresh produce from our organic vegetable gardens or sample your freshly roasted coffee before buying some for home.
If you’re looking for plant-based, organic cuisine that’s light on the earth, yet filled with nutrients and goodness, then Leafy Greens Café is the place for you. The original restaurant on the property was Casalinga Ristorante Italiano which was established over 30 years ago and its weekend lunches quickly became the place to be.
The Green Bean Coffee Roastery opened on the Casalinga Farm 13 years ago. From a start in the restaurant entrance, the roastery is now located beyond the Chapel, in the organic garden vicinity. The focus is still on “roasting-to-order,” prime African Arabica coffees. Owners Iris and Lee have added a small deli and coffee shop menu, which includes great cakes and bacon rolls (weekends only). All seating is al fresco under beautiful oak trees and on their open-air balconies. (Open 7 days a week, from 9 till 4, weekdays and 8 till 4 on weekends).
And if that’s not enough, make a night of it and stay over in our glorious La Casa Country Cottages, perfect for a romantic getaway or for families looking to get out of the city and reconnect.

Casalinga farmstay is located just outside Joburg. Join us on the farm for a quick break-away from the city, business trip or as a wedding guest. We can accommodate up to 26 people across 12 units.
The cottages make an ideal counterpoint to a business trip to Johannesburg or Pretoria – the tranquillity and beauty of the surroundings will ensure you walk into every meeting filled with inspiration and creativity.
There is a choice of 3 self-catering cottages and 2 cottages (not self-catering) that are beautifully decorated in a chic country style theme – serviced daily with complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water and unlimited Wi-Fi.
In addition to the cottages, there are a total of 4 bed and breakfast suites – located near the chapel gardens and restaurant. The suites are ideal for guests who wish to stay over after a fine dining experience.
La Casa is perfectly situated to allow you to explore and experience the best that Gauteng has to offer. From an on-site children’s playground to walking, hiking and mountain-biking trails and road bike routes, there are lots of opportunities to get active.
